The next level of locksmith certification is also given by ALOA and in order to get this certification, candidates need to get deep knowledge in 10 main subjects and to choose 2 extra special areas to study. Passing exams in all 10 main fields and 2 special fields entitles them the certificate and shows that they have acquired great knowledge.

Certified Professional Locksmith (CPL)

If you want to become a professional locksmith you must hold a CRL certificate and then pass exams in 12 additional areas related to locksmithing, not only it shows that they have deep understanding but also high skills.

Certified Master Locksmith (CML)

A CML certification is the best certification a locksmith can get. It requires passing all exams in 90% of the optional subjects available.

Certified Professional Safe Technician (CPS)

Certified Master Safe Technician (CMST)
